The Story of the City Repair Project of Portland, Oregon
The Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA) with the support of the City of Bloomington's Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) will present a workshop featuring Mark Lakeman from the City Repair Project of Portland, Oregon.

The City Repair Project is a grassroots organization that educates and inspires neighbors to build community through the collaborative process of designing and creating their own informal public gathering spaces. Mark Lakeman's multimedia presentation will focus on the many possibilities for developing and designating community projects such as pocket parks and gatherings, with several concrete examples from around the country.
